We considered reputation, location, guest experience, ceremony options, accommodation, food and service where we have personal experience, photographic variety, rain alternatives and what each venue brings to a wedding that makes it different from the next.
For venues we have personally photographed, we’ve also added our own observations from actually working there.
That distinction matters.
There is a big difference between looking at a venue online and spending ten or twelve hours there on a wedding day.
A Note About Western Cape Wedding Venue Prices
Wedding prices change constantly.
A Saturday in February may cost substantially more than a Thursday in July. Some venues charge only for venue hire, while others include furniture, staff, catering, accommodation or multi-day access.
