“Like every bride, I wanted everything to be perfect on my Wedding Day.
In my case it was a bit different because I had to plan my entire Wedding all the way from Dubai and I literally had no idea where to start. I searched for venues, décor, catering, and accommodation and of course the most important part for me was the Photographer!
I searched every website, every Facebook contact, every referral and the search to me lasted for 8 months and 2 weeks to be exact.
I sent hundreds of emails, messages and received quite a few quotes but I just did not get that “THIS IS IT” feeling. Until of course my best friend back in SA referred me to Bernadette Dippenaar via WhatsApp of course. From the word go we just had an indescribable connection. This was not your ordinary photographer she was more than a Personal Co-ordinator and I immediately stopped all my searching and made the best decision.
We communicated via email and WhatsApp and may I add I was not the easiest one, I literally bugged her more than once a day and never did she ever made me feel that I was disturbing. Once I received her quotation I had no more questions left and sealed the deal! She was just such a pleasure to work with, always friendly, helpful, humble and did not hesitate to help me even with arranging my Wedding Cake.
I flew to SA and a few days before the Wedding rushed to finally meet this Gem of a Photographer and boy was it a great feeling meeting her face to face. With a huge smile and welcome I knew that I made the perfect choice. We did not have much time yet it felt like we’ve known each other for years!
With all set and done my big day arrived and again she totally knocked me off my feet, she arrived even before her schedule to make sure she captured all the finer details and yes believe it or not she even stayed longer than what was agreed and I could feel how passionate this incredible woman is about her job. The day was a huge success and I could not have asked for a better Photographer. But wait it’s not over yet, 2 days after my wedding she did a first ever trash the dress shoot inside a swimming pool during winter! Now that to me is commitment, pleasure and pure bliss! I was so glad that I got to see her one last time before I left back for Dubai and till this day I can never and will ever forget her.
