Why We Believe in the Second-Shooter Approach
BE Photography was one of the early adopters of the second-photographer approach within our wedding market. For me, it was never simply an attractive extra to add to a package. It was about responsibility.
Illness, accidents, equipment problems and acts of nature cannot always be predicted. I was never prepared to place an entire wedding in the hands of one person without additional support. I would rather earn a little less and include another photographer than risk compromising the memories entrusted to us.
Having a second photographer also creates a much more complete story.
While one photographer captures the bride walking down the aisle, the other can photograph the groom’s reaction. While one focuses on the couple exchanging vows, the other can preserve the emotion on the faces of their parents and guests.
