On a beautiful summers day Lee-Anne and Tiaan exchanged their vows and everlasting love to each other at the beautiful Bon Cap Wedding Venue in Robertson.

Here is their love story:

THE UNCONVENTIONAL LOVE STORY

How it beganโ€ฆ

A fleeting encounterย at the groomโ€™s brotherโ€™s 18th birthday party back in 2012 and forward a couple of years later to 2017ย in one of the local watering holes where they met again.
What they thought would be a brief fling quickly turned into enjoying each otherโ€™s company too much not to want to go for that โ€œone drinkโ€ without the other.

The proposalโ€ฆ

Planning the proposal was always going to be a little difficult as the groom absolutely cannot keep a secret.

The couple got engaged at the beautiful Devon Valley hotel in Stellenbosch on 27 July 2019.
After walking into the hotel room and seeing the champagne and roses, the bride took out her phone and started taking photos. She didnโ€™t think that if the groomย would propose that he would do itย immediately upon arrival!
With the groomโ€™s statement, โ€œOns is obviously hier vir โ€˜n redeโ€ฆโ€ and the brideโ€™s very blunt reply, โ€œHuh?โ€ she turned around and saw him on his knee.

In all the excitement and the groom forgetting which handย to put the ring on, the bride kissed him and had to be reminded that a, โ€œYesโ€ is still required.

The weddingโ€ฆ

The couple got married at the lovely Bon Cap in Robertson on 28 November 2020.

The bride fell in love with the venue as it offers a variety of backdrops for amazing photos as well as being cozy and intimate.

Planning a wedding is never completely smooth sailing, add a global pandemic and youโ€™re sure to have a bit of a bumpy ride, but Bon Cap being a one stop wedding venue was able to take all of the stress away and ensured that the couple had the wedding of their dreams.

The couple chose a very minimalistic look for their wedding, with only shades of white, grey and black, completing the decor with greenery and a bit of rustic touch.

The bride knew she didnโ€™t want โ€œconventionalโ€ wedding photos and wanted a bit of a โ€œmoodierโ€ look to their wedding photos.
