Wedding Photo Checklist

From detail family portraits to candid reception shots, this list will give you an idea of what kind of images you can expect from us on your wedding day.

Décor & Venue

• Your ceremony and reception venue(s), both interior and exterior.
• Décor such as signage, décor, centerpieces, table settings, guest book, favor table, flowers.
• Wedding cake, flat lay of stationery items (must provided to us) such as save-the-date, invitation, ceremony program, menu and place cards.

Bridal Preparation

• Wedding dress, garter, shoes, bouquet and jewelry.
• Hair and make-up preparation.
• Posed photographs of wedding party in their getting ready gowns.
• Candid moments of bridesmaids and mom helping the bride getting dressed.
• Emotional moments like the ‘reveal to the bridesmaids’, first look with dad or whatever you choose.
• Portraits of the bride fully dressed and ready for the ceremony.

Groom Preparation

• Details such as shoes, cologne, tie, buttoner, cufflinks etc.
• Groom having a drink with groomsmen.
• Groomsmen helping the groom getting ready.
• Portraits of groom fully dressed and ready to leave for the reception.

Wedding Ceremony

• Guests arriving to the ceremony and taking their seats.
• The groom and groomsmen while waiting on the bride.
• Wedding party processional.
• The grooms face when bride walk down the aisle.
• Bride walking down the aisle.
• Dad giving the bride away and shaking the grooms hand.
• Officiant performing the ceremony.
• Couple at the altar.
• Candid emotional and funny moments during the ceremony.
• Exchange of rings and first kiss.
• Signing of the register.
• Confetti or rose petals being thrown after the ceremony.
• Couple leaving the ceremony and being congratulated by friends and family.
• Food, drinks and guests at canapés and couple interacting with their guests.

Family Photographs

• If we are not provided with a photo list, we proceed to take photographs of the bridal couple with their parents, siblings and grandparents.

Bridal Party Photographs

• Groomsmen with the groom.
• Bridesmaids with the bride.
• Fun and posed photographs of everyone together.

Couple Photo Session

• We prefer the more editorial candid moments but for those who are not as comfortable in front of the lens, we will give the necessary guidance.
• Portraits of bride and groom individually.
• Close-ups as well as landscape photographs to give justice to the beautiful surroundings.
• We strive to get those magical moments and golden hour is a must!

Reception

• Bride and groom entering the reception.
• Bride and groom cutting the cake.
• Bride and groom opening the dance floor.
• Loved ones giving speeches.
• Candid moments of guests and the couple.
• Food and dessert.
• Guest dancing and having a good time.
• Father and daughter dance.
• Bouquet and garter toss if applicable.
